A significant portion of the visit was dedicated to our automated 3PE (Three-Layer Polyethylene) coating line. 3PE is the gold standard for buried Russian pipelines due to its excellent electrical resistance and mechanical protection.
The delegation witnessed the multi-stage coating process:
Surface Preparation: Achieving Sa 2.5 cleanliness via high-speed shot blasting.
Epoxy Primer Application: Ensuring maximum chemical bonding.
PE Extrusion: Achieving the precise thickness required by DIN 30670 and ISO 21809-1 standards.
Quality Inspection (NDT)
Online Ultrasonic & X-Ray: 100% scanning of the weld seams for our LSAW/ERW pipes.
Hydrostatic Testing: Verifying the pipe's integrity at high-pressure ratings.
HIC & SSC Testing: For projects involving "sour gas," we demonstrated our resistance to Hydrogen-Induced Cracking, a vital safety feature for modern Russian energy fields.
The visit concluded with a preliminary agreement for the first phase of the API 5L X65 3PE pipe supply. This visit not only strengthens our commercial ties with the Russian market but also aligns with the broader "Power of Siberia" energy corridor initiatives, reinforcing our role as a trusted global supplier of high-pressure pipeline solutions.
