What is EN10216-2 Steel Pipe

EN10216 is a universal standard for seamless steel pipes used in pressure applications within the European Union. It consists of five parts, covering technical and process conditions for seamless steel pipes for various applications. EN10216-2 applies to non-alloy and alloy seamless steel pipes with specified high-temperature properties, detailing the requirements for these pipes when used in high-temperature environments, including chemical composition, mechanical properties, and manufacturing processes. Each part details the specific steel grade, upper and lower limits of its chemical composition, mechanical properties (room temperature and high temperature), heat treatment conditions, and specific inspection requirements for that category.
